Get One More Day from Your Blowout with This Improv Beauty Trick - Makeup and Beauty Blog
Concluding week was crazy busy, with ii trips out of town and a large family visit, then on Wednesday, knowing that I wouldn't have much time later on in the week to tend to my hair, I blew it out and hoped I'd be able to get by for a few days using just a dry shampoo.
It was a decent plenty plan, and information technology got me through a few days, but and so I decided to sneak in a run…
BAM! Only like that, I had janky roots.
And a greasy scalp. Greasy, stinky, oily, and all kinds of gross. 🙂
I fully intended to launder my hair before heading to my BFF'south son's baptism on Saturday, but equally usual, time escaped me, and I concluded up with merely 20 minutes to wearing apparel and get out the door.
Dang! Non enough time for me to wash and way my hair.
I was well-nigh to reluctantly turn to the dry shampoo again (I know…) to bandbox up my roots and absorb some of the oil, put my hair up in a ponytail and throw on a hat, just I didn't have a chapeau that matched my dress.
Drat! With the clock ticking down to the outset of the ceremony, I discovered this blowout beauty improv play a joke on.
I got ready to hop in the shower, but earlier jumping in, I quickly sectioned off my pilus, leaving my bangs and the hair framing my face up free, and putting the rest of it upwardly in a ponytail.
Then, to keep it dry out, I wrapped up the ponytail and the volume in the dorsum in a towel and secured it with bobby pins (y'all could probably also use a shower cap for this stride).
In the shower, I shampooed and conditioned my scalp, bangs and the hair around my face, but I avoided the hair tucked up under the towel.
When I finished, I removed the towel and ponytail and sprayed some dry shampoo on the roots around the area that stayed dry in the shower. And then, I used my T3 to straighten and dry my bangs and the wet hair framing my face up.
Total time: well-nigh iii minutes. And I was adept enough to become.
It'southward weird, merely even though I knew that most of my hair was nonetheless dirty, cleaning the front surface area fabricated me feel most 100 times better. 🙂
Sure, it tin't compare to a thorough shampooing, workout and blowout, just when I don't accept a total 30 minutes to deal with my 'do, it could exist worse.
